Fred J. LaBombard
A long-time resident of Lebanon and former store owner, Fred J. LaBombard, died Friday night at his home on South St. following a lengthy illness. He would have been 79 years of age had he lived another month.
A native of Ellenburg, N.Y., he was the so nof John P. and Lavina Beaudea.
He came to Lebanon at the age of 15. For many years he operated a gorcery store and meat market here. A few years ago he sold his Lebanon store and moved to Canaan, engaging in a similar business there. He retired and returned to Lebanon this past year.
Mr. LaBombard is survived by his widow, Mrs. Exelia LaBombard; two daughters, Irene LaBombard of New York City and Mrs. Blanche Youtt of Lebanon; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Steve LaBombard of Lebanon.
Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Church Monday morning with Rev. F. J. Crowley, Rev. Odore Gendron and one of the LaSalette fathers officiating.
Burial took place in the family lot in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
Bearers were grand-nephews of the deceased: Hugh MacDonald, Doulgas Decato, Richard Decato, Robert Couture and Noel LeBrun, all of Lebanon; and John Paradle of Woodsville.
Arrangements were in charge of the Cain Funeral Home.
