  Notes	Middlebury Register, February 9, 1912 Lewis Bissette Lewis Bissette, who has been a resident of the town for about 60 years, died Friday morning, February 2, after an illness of but a few days. He was 81 years, five months and three days old. Funeral services were held at his home Sunday afternoon, Rev. T.A. Howard officiating. The burial was in South Cornwall cemetery. Besides an aged wife, who is quite feeble, he leaves five children, Lewis of Sudbury, Edward of Waldon, George of East Wallingfored, Charles, who is on the home place, and one daughter, Minnie, beside several grandchildren, who have the sympathy of all in their sorrow. Mr. Bissett, in his life among us, had the reputation of being an honorable, upright man.
