Funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o?clock at Epworth Methodist church and burial will follow in Oakwood cemetery here. He was a son Mrs. Helen F. Varner Bass and the late W.C. Bass. He is survived by his mother; his wife, the former Beatrice Shoe, of Mt. Pleasant; two children, Ruth and Charlie; one brother, Rush Bass, of Concord; three half-brothers, Rodney, Waltha and Kenneth Clayton, of Concord, route 4, and one half-sisters Miss Tosher Clayton, of the home.
