Eula Mae Bass
Mrs. Eula Mae Bass, age 92, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at her home in Parks, Arkansas. She was born on January 16, 1933, to parents Harvey Benjamin Dilbeck and Beulah Mae (Coogan) Dilbeck, in Big Fork, Arkansas.
Our sweet little mother lived her life serving God and loving her family. She loved to cook and was famous for making Hot Rolls and setting a table that will long be remembered. Her favorite hobby was quilting and had a green thumb for growing beautiful flowers. Her life and passing was surrounded by family and friends, who all considered her the prettiest flower of all.
Mrs. Eula Mae Bass was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Bass Jr.; her son, Leroy Bass; daughter, Letha Steele; granddaughter, Cheryl Flynn; grandson, Jared Meredith; her great-granddaughter, Lily Bass; her parents, Harvey Benjamin Dilbeck and Beulah Me (Coogan) Dilbeck; brothers, Jimmie B. Dilbeck, Berlin E. Dilbeck, Herbert J. Dilbeck, and Harvey Benjamin Dilbeck. She is survived by her sons, Jesse Bass of Mena, Arkansas, Danny and wife Teresa Bass of Parks, Arkansas, Johnny and wife Glenda Bass of Parks, Arkansas, Sammy Bass of Parks, Arkansas; daughters, Kathy and husband Joseph Rowland of Sims, Arkansas, Amanda and husband Ken Barnett of Waldron, Arkansas; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Mary Bass of Waldron, Arkansas; son-in-law, Ron Steele of Huntington, Arkansas; brother, Johnny W. Dilbeck of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sisters, Selena Faye Dilbeck of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Minnnie P. and husband Kenneth Cossey of Mena, Arkansas as well as by a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends too numerous to mention.
Graveside services for Mrs. Eula Mae Bass will be held, Monday, June 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Rock Springs Cemetery, in Posey Hollow, Arkansas. Brother Joseph Rowland and Brother Brad Dick will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. The Pallbearers are Allen Brumbelow, Isaac Bass, Aaron Meredith, Benji Bass, Tim Bass, and Josh Bass. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Bass, Stephan Bass, Chad Steele, Remington Steele, and Curtis Bass.
