He was a line foremen for the R.H. Bouligny Company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Delores (Sis) Cormany Bass, New Castle; one daughter, Mrs. Melody Lynn Harris, New Castle; three brothers, W.R. Bass, Joe Bass, both of Speedwell, and Tommy Bas, Wytheville; two granddaughters. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home, with interment to follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. The fmily will receive friends at the Grubb Funeral Home, Wytheville, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
