Funeral services for Wilma J. Hormann, 87, of 701 S. Blanchard St., and formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Sons Funeral Home, New Haven, Indiana. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, and from 11 a.m. until time of the service Wednesday at E. Harper & Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hormann died at 11:50 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 1999 at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center.
She was born February 2, 1912 in Kendallville, Indiana to Ora and Lottie (Weaver) Bassett. She married Ray E. Owens in 1932 in Coldwater, Michigan, and he died February 4, 1957. She later married Arthur H. Hormann in Richmond, Indiana, and he died in 1981.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Randy (Marlene) Snoke, Findlay; a stepdaughter, Jeanne Murray, Millerport; a stepson, Arthur D. Hormann, Leesburg, Florida; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Borden, LaVon Bassett, Harold Bassett; and two sisters, Helen Sturgis, June Ross.
Mrs. Hormann was a homemaker; and owner and operator of the former Owen Tourist Home, Fort Wayne, Indiana, in the 1950's.
She was a member of the Methodist faith and the Kendallville, Indiana, chapter of Royal Neighbors.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
