1936-2016
OSWEGO ? Cora Mae Anno, 79, Oswego, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Season?s Hospice in Naperville.
She was born Dec. 11, 1936, in Albion, the daughter of Eldon and Alvina (Bassett) Smith.
She was a homemaker and her three passions were dancing, music and Elvis Presley.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rhonda (the late Roger) Nance; sister, Louise Patton; and nephew, Michael Patton.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita (the late Roger) Haviland; seven grandchildren, Corinne (Sam) Holman, Steven and Jace Nance, Michael, Chastity, Billy, and Anthony Haviland; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She is also survived by nephew, Mark Patton; niece, Rose (Gary) Gosa; and brother-in-law, James Patton.
Family will be receiving guests from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016, at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave., Montgomery, IL 60538. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Bone Gap Cemetery, Bone Gap.
