      Waco, Texas, March 7. ? Mrs. C.A. Westbrook and daughter, Misses Lucile and Hallie, will sail for China next month, where Miss Lucile and Mr. Arthur Bassett of St. Louis will wed. Mr. Bassett holds a government position which prevents him from coming to America to marry.

      Major Arthur Bassett of Paris, who came to China originally as United States District Attorney of the United States Court for China, is now legal adviser to the British-American Tobacco Company. He volunteered for service in the war and was stationed at Tientsin as judge-advocate with the American Expeditionary Forces and was retired with the rank of Major.
