A member of a Pioneer Osceola County Family she was born in Kenansville the daughter of Oliver R. and Rebecca Jane Nettles Bass and was a lifelong Kenansville resident. She was a site manager for the Kenansvile Council on Aging Department and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church, Kenansville. Tonnie Lee was a minor league little league baseball coach for many years and a volunteer at the Kenansville fire department. Survivors include daughters, Lillian Smith (Ronnie) of Miami, Cindy Blankenship (Ricky), Kenansville; sons, Alonzo F. Bess, Jr., Kenansville, Donald Lee Bess, Kenansville, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Tonnie Lee will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Missionary Baptist Church, Kenansville with the Reverend Charles Colburn, officiating. Interment to follow in Kenansville Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Grissom Funeral Home, Kissimmee. Grissom Funeral Home & Crematory, Kissimmee in charge of arrangements.
