Edna Lee Waddell Bass

Edna Lee Waddell Bass, age 82, of Wytheville, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Ira F. and Mary Edith Eastwood Waddell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pierce Bass; and a son, Michael Dean Bass.
Edna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Perry Frieson of Florence, S.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Amber Bass of Rural Retreat, Guy and Misty Bass of Wytheville, David Bass of Wytheville, and Mark and Brandi Bass of Wytheville; sister, Mary Hancock of Wytheville; brother and sister-in-law, Mason and Donna Waddell of Ashland, Ky.; grandchildren, McKenzie Bass (see you later Alligator), Thomas Bass, April Garrido, Kristie Coleman, Kellie Bass, Shannon Bass; and great-grandchild, Reagan Bass.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Reverend Derek Cowan. Interment will follow at West End Cemetery.
