  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary Harvey H. Bass Harvey H. Bass, 80, of Victoria, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998. He was born April 28, 1918 in Polard, Ala., to the late James and Mattie Adams Bass. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired letter carrier after 27 years with the U.S. Postal Service in Victoria. Survivors: wife, Leona Hilscher Bass; daughter, Mary Williams of Victoria; sons, Robert Harvey Bass of Betrum and Gary Wayne Bass of Austin; sister, Lillian Fisher of San Antonio; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: daughter, June Ellen Silvers. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Resurrection Cemetery, the Rev. Clayton Taylor officiating with full military services by VFW, CWV, DAV, American Legion and Marine Corps League. Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Victoria, 573-4546.
