Anthony J. Bassett
1920-2008
Hubbard - Anthony J. Bassett, 87, died Sunday, January 13, 2008, at Assumption Village. He was born July 27, 1920, in Myersdale, Pennsylvania, the son of Frank and Mary Acciaroli Bassetti. Mr. Bassett worked for Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Sharon, Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Patrick Church. His wife, the former Dorothy DeVeto, whom he married April 30, 1949, died March 19, 2007. He is survived by a son, James A. of Canfield and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
