Sudden Death at Plymouth.
PLYMOUTH, Oct. 24 – William A. Bassett, a prominent business man of this place, while at work trimming peach trees in his garden, suddenly dropped dead from a supposed stroke of apoplexy. Mr. Bassett was 68 years of age, and highly esteemed. He came here from New York state in 1857. In 1869 he embarked in the furniture and undertaking business and continued therein until his death.
