Mrs. Betsey Bassett
Mrs. Betsey Bassett, widow of Stacey Bassett, eighty-four years old, died this morning at 3 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Janice Van Slyke, 237 Chenango street. Her survivors are a son, Ransom Bassett; two daughters, Mrs. Janice Van Slyke and Miss Hattie Bassett; two brothers, Charles Underwood of Syracuse and Emmett Underwood, Des Moines, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Ella Dickenson of Rochester, and a great-grand-daughter, Mrs. George Knibbs of this city. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home. Burial will be in Campville.
