James Bassett
Elmora - Bassett - James, 75, Elmora, died, July 18, 2010, surrounded by his family. Born March 30, 1935, in Elmora, son of the late William and Emily (Chrestler) Bassett. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Joanne F. (Mothersbaugh) Bassett; sons, Greg, married to Brenda Polisky; James M., married to Renee Farrell; and Brent W., married to Stacey Brown, all of Elmora; and 11 grandchildren. Brother of Dawn Lane and Jack Bassett, both of Elmora; Richard Bassett, Akron, Ohio; and Debbie Lamont and Gary Bassett, both of Elmora. Member of Bakerton Rod and Gun Club, Athletic Club and 3 C's Trout Nursery. At the request of James there will be no public viewing or visitation. Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, is in charge of arrangements.
