David M. Bassett II, Professor St. Thomas Academy Age 62 of St. Paul, on January 24, 2006. David, along with his father, Marvin D. have dedicated over three quarters of a century to the lives of the cadets at St. Thomas Academy. His teachings of pride, honor, and integrity will never be forgotten. Preceded in death by parents, Marvin D. and Edna K. Survived by wife, Frances; children, David Marvin (Katja C.) Bassett, III, and Morgan Kent Bassett; granddaughter Ashley Bassett; sister, Deborah K. (Dale) Delaney; brothers, Richard L. (Heidi) Bassett, and Dennis E. (Gail) Bassett; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Tuesday at the Church of the Nativity, Stanford at Prior, St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 4-8PM Monday at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 651-228-1006.
