Sherman Bass
Sherman Bass, 53, of Brassfield Roa, Creedmoore, died at his home Wednesday.
He was a native of Granville County. He was a farmer and a veteran of the Korean War.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Ellis D. Jones Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Harold Trice. Burial will be in the Union Chapel Church New Cemetery.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ruthie Lee Suitt of Durham, Mrs. Ada Steed and Mrs. Denise Burgess of New York; and three brothers, Marcellus Bass of New York, Donald Bass of Landham, Md., and Odell Bass Allen of Petersburg, Va.

CREEDMOOR ? Funeral services for Sherman Bass of Brassfield Road will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Ellis D. Jones Funeral Chapel. Conducint will be the Rev. Harold Trice. Burial will be in Union Chapel Church new cemetery.
He died yesterday in his home.
A native of Granville County, he was a farmer. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ruthie Lee Suitt of Durham and Mrs. Ada Steed and Mrs. Denise Burgess, both of New York; three brothers, Marcellus Bass of New York, Donald Bass of Landham, Md., and Odell Bass Allen of Petersubrg, Va.
The family will be at the home of Mrs. Suitt at 1028 Kent St. in Durham.
