Beverly Catherine (Bessette) White (1934 ? 2018) (Picture included)
Bristol - Beverly Catherine (Bessette) White, 83, died on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 at Porter Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 1, 1934, in Shelburne, VT to Guy and Freda (Pollard) Bessette. On March 12, 1955, she married Richard Arthur White and they resided in Hinesburg up until Richard's passing in 2000. Beverly then moved to Bristol to be closer to her children and their families. She later met Charles Lawyer and he became her companion for the next 14 years until his passing in 2016. After her children had grown, she spent many years as a nanny for families in Hinesburg and Williston. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and tending to her many flower beds.
Beverly was predeceased by her husband Richard White, son Richard White Jr., and daughter Sandra Nyisalosky, as well as four of her siblings and their spouses. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Kimball (Wesley), her son Rick Angolano, and her brother William Bessette (Iris), as well as seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A service in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bristol. A reception will follow at the church. Interment will be at a later date with family.
