Maurice Bass
Maurice Bass completed his earthly journey on September 12th at his Naudain Street home in his 62nd year.
Son of the late Lula Thacker Bass and June Bass, he was born September 16, 1944 in Browns Summit, NC. He was formerly employed by the Harrisburg Incinerator.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bass was predeceased by 6 siblings and 1 grandson. His memory will be cherished by his wife, Sharon Geter; 3 sons, Maurice and Alonzo Geter and Jamar Bass; daughter, Latteesha Geter, all of Harrisburg; 16 grand, 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Freddie Bass of Rochester, NY and Timothy Bass of Browns Summit, NC; other relatives and friends.
A tribute to Mr. Bass's life will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Wallace Funeral Directors, 106 Agnes Street, (off S. 19th), Harrisburg, with viewing from 1-2 p.m.
The family expresses its deep appreciation for all expressions of love and support.
