Mrs. Kilgore was born in Carroll County, GA on May 11, 1931, the daughter of the late William Bass and Maggie Hendrix Bass. Mrs. Kilgore was a mill worker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her sons, Danny Kilgore of Bowdon, Randall Kilgore of Carrollton; sister, Mildred Nixon of Carrollton; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Barry Kilgore; brothers and sisters, Marvin Bass, Jewell Phillips, Nellie Huckeba, Deffie Bohannon, Verna Bass, Eulus Bass, Arlin Bass, Wilton Bass and Irene Pollard. Graveside service and inurnment will be Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Harris officiating.
