Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Kelly Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Florida Bass; a daughter, Nancy Bass of the home; five step-daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hutchinson of Greensboro, Mrs. Doris Teague, of Danville, Va., Mrs. Elenore Andrews of Wilmington, Mrs. Shirley Reyes of Raleigh, Mrs. Agnes Martin of Richmond, Va.; three step-sons, Frank Franklin and Ed Franklin, both of Richmond, Va., Junior Franklin of Greensboro; and two sisters and two brothers; 26 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
