  Notes	Springfield Republican, November 19, 1942 Northfield Mrs. Frank Brassor Dies At Greenfield Northfield, Nov. 18 – Mrs. Nellie Brassor, wife of Frank J. Brassor of West Northfield, died Monday morning at the Farren Memorial hospital after a week’s illness. She was born in Guilford, Vt., on July 8, 1885, the daughter of Joseph and Rose Bassett. She had made her home in West Northfield for many years but formerly lived in Northfield. She was a member of the Women’s auxiliary of the Spanish-American War Veterans of Greenfield. Besides her husband, she leaves 12 children: Theodore, Marion, Edward, Esther and Nellie of West Northfield; Robert and Ray Brassor and Mrs. Edna Batchelder of Wilmington, Vt.; Henry Brassor of Sagamore; Mrs. Florence Stetson of Jacksonville, Vt.; Mrs. Doris Phinney of Linwood and Mrs. Annie Lysiak of Turners Falls; seven grandchildren and one brother, Henry Bassett of West Northfield. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Catholic church here with Rev. Father Kennedy officiating. Burial was in the West Northfield cemetery.
