Mrs. Weldon Bass
CLINTON ? Mrs. Weldon Bass, 61, died at her home in the Smyrna section of Columbia County early yesterday morning.
She is survived by her husband and a son, Paul Bass, both of Chadbourn; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Gore, Tabor City, and Mrs. Janie Thompson, Whiteville.
Funeral services were conducted at 4 p.m. today in the Smyrna Baptist Church by the Rev. Oscar Holland. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Chadbourn.
