Connie Bass, 80, passed away peacefully and was received with love by our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 19, 2026.
Connie spent many years living in the beautiful town of Paradise, CA and was a loving wife to Marvin K. Bass for 36 years.
Connie was born April 23,1945 in Gulfport, Mississippi to Paul and Francine Shaw. Connie was the second oldest of five children: Ronnie, Connie, Paul Jr., Kim and Ronda.
Connie was a devoted mom, wife, sister and daughter as well as an extraordinarily helpful and welcoming person to everyone in her life. Connie owned a residential home cleaning business for many years in Paradise, CA
Connie?s role as a mother extended to so many other family members as she provided a wealth of love and care for her family.
We will always remember Connie for her love of life, Jesus Christ, her family and her love of animals, especially her dogs.
A woman of boundless energy, Connie always thought of others first and her smile radiated warmth and love for all who knew her.
Connie also enjoyed shopping, going out to eat with her family and later in life, watching her favorite game shows. She loved all animals in nature, often providing them treats.
Connie is survived by her children Kevin, Rachelle and Renae, sisters Kim and Ronda, her stepson Ken, ten grandkids and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that you hug the next baby or puppy you see, Connie would smile.
We love you Connie!
Services will be held on Saturday, February 21st at Glen Oaks Memorial Park in Chico, CA at 1:00 pm.
