Glenn Scott Lewin (1955 ? 2018)
Glenn Scott Lewin was born 9th July 1955, third child, second son of the late Walter G. and Margaret J. (nee Bassett) Lewin. He went home to Jesus 27th March, 2018. He is survived by his loving and beloved wife, Melanie, of almost 20 years; (step) children, Brigitte (David) Fox and Doug (Sam) Evans; (informally) adopted daughter Aubri (James); granddaughter, Sophie; grandsons Edan, Jaydan, Preston, Jayson; sister, Yvonne (George) Raetzke; brother, Gordon (Janet) Lewin; sisters-in-law, Lynn Lewin and Janet K. Lewin; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne B. Lewin and Gary S. Lewin. Rightly nicknamed "Bulldog," he fought an unwinnable fight right to the very end. His grit, dogged determination and tenacity would not call it quits. He was beloved by friends and family for his great and generous heart and the ability to charm everyone he met. His ability to tell stories and jokes will be remembered by all. We will be celebrating Glenn's life at Blackfinn Restaurant, Mount Prospect on (Thursday 5 April) from (11 am - 3 pm). No flowers, by request. Donations will be received in lieu of flowers (envelopes provided).
