Jerome A. Bassett
BARBOURS -- Jerome A. Bassett, 67, of 752 Lower Barbours Road died Tuesday at home.
He retired as a computer systems analyst from the former Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Hampden Twp.; was a graduate of Lycoming College; an Air Force veteran of the Korean War; and a private pilot.
He was the widower of Faye A. Confer Bassett. Surviving are three sons, Rhett S. of Lewisberry, Britt D. of Barbours and Tripp J. of Harrisburg; his mother, Lorrin A. Hunter of Williamsport; a brother, Amos E. Hunter of Austin, Texas; four sisters, Joan D. June of Raymore, Mo., Shirley J. Confer and L. Amy Shumbat, both of Williamsport, and Loretta E. Engquist of South Williamsport; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1: 30 p.m. Tuesday in Knight-Confer Funeral Home, Williamsport. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
