  Notes	The Billings Gazette, Montana, September 2, 1964 Mrs. Basse, 29, Thermpo, Dies Mrs. Dorothy Joan Basse, 29, wife of LaVerne Basse of Thermoplois, Wyo., died Thursday evening in a Billings hospital, where she had been a patient for five days. Survivors, in addition to the widower, include a son, Steve Allen, 8; a daughter, Rita Marie, 7; a brother, Eugene Thornton of Crawford; a sister, Mrs. Dan Stansbury of Chicago; her mother, Mrs. Mary Thornton of Crawford; two half brothers, Vernon Thornton of Sheridan, Wyo., Leonard Thornton of Crawford, and five half sisters, Mrs. Oscar Riddle of Jeffery City, Wyo., Mrs. Theo Soden of Pocatello, Idaho, Mrs. Ruth Garner of Crawford, Mrs. Hazel McCune of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Miss Irene Thornton of Palo Alto, Calif. The body is in Dahl-Brown Funeral Chapel. It will be taken to Mortimore Chapel in Thermopolis for services and burial.
