Donald Allen Bassett
We are sad to announce the passing of Donald, after a brief battle with cancer at NHS-St. Catharines on July 18, 2024 at 65 years of age. He was born August 26, 1958 in St. Catharines to Loretta (nee Humphries) and the late Frank (April 7, 2024). Dear brother of Dennis (Debbie), Daryl (Gina) and Lee-Ann. Uncle to many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased his sister, Lori-Jo (Aug 6, 1976).
Donnie was a free spirit guy. He enjoyed fishing as well as traveling out East, especially Newfoundland, a place that was deep in his heart. Donnie was a true die hard fan of the Chicago Blackhawks. He was a man that never said NO to having a beer with family or friends. He always had time to talk to anyone who would listen.
In honouring Donnie's wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held; please contact gbassett58@hotmail.com for details.
