Grover C. Bassett
Grover C. Bassett of 1 Haven Street, Elmsford, died Sunday at Phelps Memorial Hospital at the age of 68. He was born October 20, 1907.
Bassett was a retired painter. He lived in Elmsford for 33 years and prior to that he resided in New York City. He was born in raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. Bassett was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy (DiFede) Bassett of the home address, a son, Ronald Bassett, of Yonkers, a sister, Miss Wretha Bassett of Eden, New York, and several nieces and nephews.
