Luther Jackson Algee
Luther Algee Died Last Evening In Holden Hospital
Luther Algee, 66, died last evening in the Holden Hospital after a six weeks period of illness.
He was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, and has been employed in the I.C.R.R. shops for the past 35 years.
The body will lie in state at his home, 430 E. Jackson. He will be removed from the Keathly Funeral Home at 6:00 o?clock Saturday evening. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o?clock in the Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Clakr officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
He is survived by a son, Delmar Algee of this city, two sisters, Betty Gillispie of Milan, Tenn., and Bessie Doate of Trenton, Tenn., a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law.
