Billy Jin-Woo Bass, Lansing Passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the age of 45. Born March 5, 1975 in Seoul, Korea and shortly after adopted by his parents Billy and Joan (Hooks) Bass. He and his family moved to Lansing, Michigan where he graduated from Lansing Waverly High School class of 1993. Billy enjoyed sports cars and watching action movies. He spent a lot of time with his good friend, David. Billy lived and took care of his mother, Joan Bass. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them all. Preceding him in death was his father, Billy Lee Bass.
Surviving are his son, Destin Bass; Destin?s mother and Billy?s best friend, Rhonda McQueen; mother, Joan Bass as well as many extended family and friends.

Billy Yen Woo Bass
In loving memory of Billy Yen Woo Bass. Lil Bill, to his family, passed on January 2, 2021. He was born in Seoul Korea on May 5, 1975. Bill was adopted by his parents Bill and Joan Bass. He arrived in America on his 1st birthday. He grew up in Lansing and attended Waverly High. He made many friends throughout his life. His smile, his loving nature and respect for others , he gave freely. His family and friends meant everything to him. Bill had an intelligence that afforded him to sustain and succeed in his own ways. He loved cars and was a "master" detailer at Dave's Corvette. His lifelong friend David Foster II was his best friend and "brother".
Bill's dad, Billy Lee, passed in 2013, Lil Bill was very proud of his Dad. His grandparents Lamar and Pat Maxey and Aunt Brenda Evans also preceded him. He leaves behind his mother Joan and his son Destin. His Aunt's, Mary (John) Pfligler, Kim Maxey and Patricia Brouder. His special Uncle's, Bob, Steve, Kelly Maxey and Bill Brouder. His family was large with many cousins who will miss him dearly. His passing has taught us all, keep your loved ones close and don't let time pass you by. There is always time to talk to each other. We will hold you close in our hearts and memories forever.
