Funeral services for Billie Diane Bassett of Jena will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2013 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena with Revs. Jason Robbins and Ray Wells officiating. Interment will follow in the Belah Cemetery in Trout under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena. Friends may call from 5 until 9pm on Thursday and from 8am until time for services on Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bassett, 57, was born on August 27, 1955 in Jena to the union of Marshall Neal and Ruby Evelyn Stapleton Robbins and passed from this life on Monday, May 27, 2013 at her residence in Jena.
She was a Certified Nurses Aide.
She is survived by her two sons, Justin Bassett of Columbia and Chris Bassett of Arcadia; two sisters, Kathy White of Jena and Connie Scott of Wisner; two brothers, John Robbins of Jena and Buddy Robbins of Horn Lake, MS and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Bassett and brother Ricky Robbins.
Pallbearers will be Justin Carr, Jody O?Bier, Matt Braddock, Josh Hendrix, Michael Hall and Eddie Taylor.
