Steven Lee Bass, born on November 29, 1987, in Conroe, Texas, to LaNetta Ann and Steven Craig Bass, passed away on October 27, 2025, in Trinity, Texas.
Steven was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nelda and D.L. Bass; his maternal grandparents, Johnny and Edna Gregory; uncle Raymond Pennington; aunt Jody Reeves; cousin Joshua McDonald; his brother-in-law, Keith Fisher; and his best friend, Jeremy Partridge.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Chelsie; his beloved children, Craig Bass, Matthew Bass, Aarron Brooks, and Grayson Musgrove; his parents, LaNetta and Steven Bass; his siblings, Melissa Crawford and husband Patrick, Kristina Schanfish and husband Randy, and brother Jordan Bass; his father- and mother-in-law, D.C. and Heather Musgrove; his brother-in-law, Tyler Musgrove; and lifelong friends Jeff, Coop, Alex, J.W., Keith, and Butterbean. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends also survive.
Steven found joy in fishing and spending time in the great outdoors. He was an enthusiastic fan of his favorite sports teams: the Green Bay Packers, Texas Longhorns, and Houston Astros. Known for being outspoken and never shying away from sharing his thoughts, Steven was always ready to tell you exactly how the cow ate the cabbage.
Above all, Steven cherished every moment he spent with his children and his Birdie. His love for his family was the center of his world, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Waller-Thornton Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas at 2 P.M.
