Mrs. Alice Bassett
Word has been received of the death of Alice (Savery) Bassett, 30, of Granby, Conn., who was instantly killed in an automobile accident early Saturday morning at Hartford, Conn.
She was born August 22, 1938 in Thetford and attended school at Post Mills and graduated from Thetford Academy in 1957.
On March 15, 1958, she married Charles Bassetgt, formerly of Pittsford, at Post Mills Congregational church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five sons, Charles, Edward, Dexter, John and Mark; one daughter, Suzanne, all of Granby; her father, Frank E. Savery of Granby and her mother, Louise (Lyford) Dalrymple of Marlboro; two brothers, Frank E. Jr. and James Savery of Collinsville, Conn., and an aunt, Mrs. Helen S. Paige of Thetford Center.
Services were held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Congregational Church in Granby and burial was the afternoon in Pittsford.
