Magdalene Gupton
Mrs Magdalene Gupton,Daughter of R. C. Bass and Malissa Smith Bass,was born December 24, 1925, Green County and departed this life on Monday June 21, 1999 at the Hardin County Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, She was 73 years, 5 months and 28 days of age. She had made a profesion of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church at the time of her death, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a former employee of Fruit of the Loom She united in marriage to
Roy Gupton, March 29, 1947, who survives.
Mrs Gupton is also survived by a daugherty sister & brother-in-law: Nell & Bill Bradshaw, a special niece, Lesa Bradshaw, Florida, Special nephew Rodney Berry, Clay, Ky., 2 sisters and 1 brother, Virginia McConnico, Florida, Lenora Pickett, Greensburg, Eugene "Fire Ball" Bass, Illinois, and a host of other relatives & friends. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers & 1 sister Marvin Bass, Loren "Dick" Bass, & May Furkin.
The funeral for Mrs. Magdalene "Maggie" Gupton was conducted Wednesday June 23, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Rev. Gilbert Larimore, officiated.
