Robert Provost
Robert Provost 1946 - 2012 MONETA, VA - Robert Rudolph Provost, 65, of Moneta, VA died Thursday, May 31, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Holyoke, MA on December 22, 1946 a son of the late Chester E. Provost and Viola Bessette Provost. He was with IBM for 30 years, and retired as a Branch Line Manager - Service Marketing. Bob pursued many endeavors including building his home on Smith Mountain Lake. He is survived by his wife, of 45 years, Barbara McNulty Provost; his son, Mark Provost and wife, Melissa and their children, Katie and Matthew; his daughter, Carey Samson and husband, Reeve and their children, Zachery and Carson; his sister, June Yates and husband, Ray; a brother, Chester Provost; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 15353 Moneta Rd, Moneta, VA with Father Salvador Anonuevo presiding. Burial will immediately follow in the Church Columbarium.
