Mrs. Laura Bessette
Holyoke, Aug. 23 – Mrs. Laura (Robert) Bessette, of 101 Lyman St., widow of Rudolph Bessette, died this morning in her home after a short illness. She was born in this city, daughter of the late Adelard and Olivine (Larocque) Robert and attended schools here. Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Theodore Couture, Mrs. Chester Provost and Mrs. George Brothrow, all of his city; a son, Napoleon, also of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Ulric Destromp, Mrs. George Samson and Mrs. Jeremiah Sweeney, all of this city; a brother, Napoleon of Aldenville; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at the A.J. Brunelle funeral home Wednesdy at 8.15, with a solemn requiem high mass in Immaculate Conception Church at 9. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
