Barbara Ellen Bass, 95, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, in her home.
A Mass of Remembrance will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton, with Fr. Austin Bosse officiating. Private interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton. Her family will receive friends in the St. Louis Church Harkrader Hall immediately following the interment ceremony. Barbara was born on April 19, 1930, in Caney, Kansas, to Garret "Bill" and Mary Josephine "Mimi" (Grissragen) Miller. She married Clyde L. Bass on February 22, 1948 in Oklahoma.
She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton, an associate of Sisters Of Mary of The Presentation, and a volunteer at the former Perry Memorial Hospital gift shop.
She is survived by: Her children, Clyde (Meribeth) Bass, and Marjorie Bass; 5 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Clyde, in 1994; 8 half brothers; and 3 half sister.
Memorials may be directed to St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton.
