  Notes	Twin. Ogdensburg Journal, New York Wednesday, November 30, 1938 Ogdensburg Native Dies in Detroit The death of Mrs. Harvey H. Wood occurred Wednesday evening, Nov. 23, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David H. Guy in Detroit, Mich. Alice Bassett Wood was born in Ogdensburg, Mar. 18, 1951, the daughter of Captain Edgar M. and Sarah Ann (Town) Bassett. Her marriage to Harvey H. Wood took place May 13, 1873. He passed away Jan. 22, 1923. Mrs. Wood had always made her home in Ogdensburg until about four years ago when she went to Detroit to reside with her daughter. Surviving besides Mrs. Guy are another daughter, Mrs. Stuart F. Wheater, Helmuth, N.Y., and two sons, Edgar J. and Harrison B. of Jacksonville, Florida; also ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at her late residence, 610 Canton St., Saturday afternoon, Nov. 26 at 3 o’clock. Rev Theophilus Wells of the M.E. Church officiating. Burial was in Ogdensburg Cemetery. Bearers were: John Lawrence, Roscoe Woolley, E.J. Wilson, Glenn Sullivan, Milford Seaman and Harry Miller.
