  Notes	April 28, 2004 Joe Bassett Joe Bassett, 85, of Woodinville, WA., died on April 20, 2004. Joe was born May 8, 1918 in Seattle, WA. Joe was a graduate of Franklin High School in Seattle. He served in the Army during World War III, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant; during the war he was awarded a sliver star, two bronze stars and a purple heart with oak leaf clusters. Joe spent his career working for the Parks Department of the City of Bothell. He was hardworking, strong-willed and enjoyed gardening. Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, JoAnne Williams, and sisters, Rose Luckenbach. Joe is survived by his wife, Anne Bassett of Mountlake Terrace, his sons, Gerald Bassett of Snohomish, WA. and Richard Bassetti of Wooindville, WA., and seven grandchildren. Joe is also survived by brothers, Leno Bassetti of Woodinville, WA., Fred Bassett of Auburn, WA., and sisters, Edna Allen of Woodinville, WA., Vi Skartvedt of Seattle, WA., and Connie Redmond of Federal Way, WA.
