Mary Bass

Mary Sutton Bass, 88, of Wilson, died Thursday, August 14, 2025.
The visitation will be Saturday, 4:00 - 5:30 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service. A graveside service will be Sunday, 3:00 PM, at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bass was retired from Atlantic Christian College (Barton) and was an avid gardener.
She is survived by her brother Donnie Sutton (Tina) of Lucama; sister-in-law, Jean Goff of Wilson; brother-in-law, Hilton Bass (Jo Ann) of Wilson; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her husband James Albert Bass in 2022; parents, Edward and Gladys Wells Sutton; sisters, Joyce Williamson and Betty Eubanks; brother, Bobby Sutton; and nephew, Ty Goff.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
