Born Feb. 16, 1944 in Sykesville, she was the daughter of the late John and Freda Larson Bassett. She is survived by two children, Scott McElheny of Sykesville and Louann Ashley and her husband, Brad of Center Barnstead, NH. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. ? 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. ? 8 p.m. Friday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. A private funeral service will be held on Saturday from the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Lakelawn Memorial Park.
