  Notes	The Evening Gazette, Worcester, Massachusetts, Monday, 18 September 1961 Mrs. Thomas Stretton ROYALSTON ? Mrs. Vinetta A. Stretton, 84, of Old Turnpike Road, wife of Thomas E. Stretton, died yesterday in Winchendon Hospital after a short illness. Born in New Salem, a daughter of Hedoma and Lila (Clark) Bassett, she had been a resident of Arlington before moving to Royalston six years ago. Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Alfred of Royalston, Everett of Sudbury and John of Exeter, N.H.; three daughters, Mrs. Uma A. Gardner of Easton, Mrs. Lillian Thompson of Salisbury and Mrs. Gladys Devlin of Amesbury; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral Home, Winchendon, with Rev. Richard Powers, vicar of Emanuel Church, Winchendon; officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Brook Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
