He was born February 25, 1950 to the late Ruffin Perry and Catherine Bass. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Wanda Murray. He taught at Southern Nash High School for 37 years and was a well-known architect as well. Thomas loved his family and friends. Thomas is survived by his wife of 45 years, Anne Bass; son Matthew Bass(Brittany); daughters Sara Rice(Brian) and Mallory Joyner(Dustin); grandchildren Brooklyn, Bree and Bristol Rice, Hannah Bass, Avery and Asher Joyner. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Brantley officiating. A visitation will follow the service.
