Born in Colquitt, Ga., on Nov. 26, 1921, she moved to Haines City in 1934. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Davenport. She is survived by her husband, James W. Bass, Haines City; sisters, Rosa Evans, Galloway, Ethel Dickensheets, Grand Rapids, Mich., Orrie Brown, Kathleen, and Carrie Hall, Lakeland. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 this evening at the Lane-Holt Funeral Home, 233 N. Ninth St., Haines City. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
