- William and Hope Howard are both buried in the Howard burial plot on the Randall Howard Farm in Sherburne, New York. William was chosen first delegate to the state convention (RI) regarding the Federal Constitution. He served in the Revolutionary War. His widow was pensioned at $200 a year after a payment of $1000. Date of the pension application was 20 Dec 1838. Judge Daniel Howard of Foster, Rhode Island, acted as the agent. William's granddaughter, Nancy Maria Howard Ewer, was a member of the DAR through the services of William Howard.
