It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Shannon Bass also known as ?Sam.? Charles was born June 26, 1970, and departed this earthly life on May 14, 2025.
Charles was employed at Piedmont Aviation Components in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Sam as he was called was a great co-worker and friend that always had a smile.
Charles never met a stranger and loved everyone he met. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Sam was predeceased by his parents: Charles Milton Bass and Linda Faye Mote; a sister, Marion ?Mouse? Rodriquez.
Charles leaves cherished memories to: his wife, Margaret Stanley Bass of the home; daughter, Shannon Bass of Whitsett; granddaughter, Andrea Allmond of Whitsett; sister, Tammy Neece (Brandon Neece) of Elon; mother-in-law, Shirley Stanley of Liberty; brother-in-law, Jorge Rodriquez; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Holly?s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 7991 Ferguson Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow in the Richland Gospel Church Cemetery, 7661 Richland Church Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
