Shirley Bass
On April 30, 2025, Shirley Anne Bass (nee Mort) passed away; Shirley's love for her family and friends were beyond compare, as well her enjoyment of camping and the Red Hat Society gatherings. She is so special to everyone that knew her and will be greatly missed; Shirley is the beloved wife of Robert Bass for 68 years; devoted mother of Donna Bethke and her husband Albert Jr., Joni Pistorio and her late husband J. Edward and Kim Durham and her late husband Brian; cherished grandmother of Julie Bethke-Kandula and her husband Praveen Kandula, Robert Pistorio and his wife Tara and Samantha Gourdier and her husband Michael; great-grandmother of Brody and Tanner Gourdier; sister of the late Gladys Bass and Patricia Ortman; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road (Overlea) on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Monday, May 5, 2025, from 10-11 am. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 11 am. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Infinite Legacy at www.infinitelegacy.org.
