Elmer H. Bassett (Includes picture)
Elmer H. Bassett, Democratic nominee for the office of supervisor from the Town of North Dansville, has been a resident of this village for the past ten years. With Leslie Vahue he conducted the Red and White store under the firm name of Bassett and Vahue. Four years ago he purchased Mr. Vahue’s interest and has since that time owned and managed the store. Mr. Bassett is treasurer of the Dansville Rotary Club, former treasurer of the Fearless Hook and Ladder Company, and Past Sachem of the Improved Order of Red Men. His business brings him into close touch with the public, he knows their needs and he knows their limitations. He is an upright, enterprising citizen, and his supporters say that he is the logical man to represent the Town of North Dansville on the Board of Supervisors.
