Loretta Ann Owens, 78 of Salina, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021. She was born in Beloit to Cecil and Nathalie (Bishop) Bassett on August 23, 1942.
She was a Sunday school teacher for young children at First Christian Church. She was a hard-working loving mother of four children, she earned an award ?Outstanding Parent? by the Midway Regional Council of Parents Without Partners March of 1976.
Survivors include her four children, Joseph Funk and Marcus Funk, both of Salina, Brandon Funk Sr., of Independence, MO, and Monica Fackrell, of Mountain Home, ID; sisters, Trish Elliott, of Russell and Nina Dale, of Edmond OK; four grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, February 25, memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021 all at Ryan Mortuary.
Inurnment will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at Russell City Cemetery, in Russell.
